Hangzhou, Zhejiang, August 2025 — Galex Ltd's Axion One X750 high-pressure blower has been successfully validated in the wastewater treatment system of a dyeing factory in Hangzhou. Operating at 60 kPa working pressure and 5 m³/min flow rate, it replaced traditional Roots blowers to provide stable aeration for daily treatment of 300 tons of effluent.
Metric | Traditional Roots Blower | Axion X750 | Change |
Input Power | 11 kW | 6.7 kW | ↓39.1% |
Annual Electricity Cost* | ¥82,236 | ¥50,066 | ↓39.1% |
Operating Noise | 105 dB(A) | 78 dB(A) | ↓25.7% |

Electricity cost calculation: Power × 24h × 365d × ¥0.85/kWh (Zhejiang industrial rate)
1. Energy Optimization
High-efficiency mixed-flow impeller design increases efficiency to 81.5% at 60 kPa
2. Maintenance Simplification
Oil-free enclosed bearing system eliminates scheduled maintenance
3. Noise Control
Aerodynamic and vibration-damping optimization reduces noise to 78 dB(A) at 1m
Item | Amount | Basis |
Annual Electricity Savings | ¥32,170 | Power difference × runtime × electricity rate |
Annual Maintenance Savings | ¥2,000 | Original Roots blower maintenance costs |
Total Annual Savings | ¥34,170 | |
Simple Payback Period | 6 months |
"The X750 operates stably at 4.5m water depth aeration, with measured power consumption of 6.7 kW – 39% less electricity than the Roots blower. With combined energy and maintenance savings, the investment pays back in 6 months."
